Established in the 1860s during the gold rush, Bridgewater has grown into a proud, close-knit town where sport is more than just a pastime—it’s a way of life.
Just a stone’s throw from the riverbanks, the Bridgewater Football Netball Club stands as a powerhouse of local sport, steeped in history and driven by passion. Once known as the "Blood-Stained Angels" due to the club’s iconic red and white colours, the team evolved into the Mean Machine in the 1980s, dominating the competition and claiming premiership glory.

Over the past decade, our club has thrived, thanks to a dedicated committee, relentless hard work, and unwavering community support.
We’ve not only enhanced our facilities but also elevated our performance across both the football oval and the netball court.
Since 2008, premiership success has become a tradition, with victories across multiple football and netball grades. Our Senior football team shattered records in 2016, securing seven consecutive premiership wins—a feat unmatched in league history.
These achievements are a testament to the dedication, skill, and heart of our players, coaches, and supporters.
